This is a 2400 hour GMT Clock! Its face is 7 3/4" accross, and 10" across the entire front of clock. Its run by one (1) "AA" Battery. I use Power-Sonic sealed rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries PS-ALL 1.2v-600ma which last about 2 or 3 months! You can run 1.5 volt Everyready, Duracell,Panasonic, or any type of regular batterys but that gets Expensive after a year!

This is a antenna that is made out of 14 agw copper wire! Has 2 wood insulators, and the antenna is 70 foot long!Stong enough for heavy snow build up called whore frost! As far as bandwith, if you have a good ground, and counterpoise you can tune anything!The Antenna mast extends up and out over 23 foot and 46" when not in use! YOU HAVE TO USE A ANTENNA TUNER TO OPERATE IN THE HAM BANDS! I USED IT ON 10 METERS WITH 25 WATTS AND ONLY HAD TO TUNE EVERY 100 KC'S! THE MAST IS MADE OUT OF FIBERGLASS . I MADE THE ANTENNA FOR SHORTWAVE LISTENING, BUT I TRIED IT ON THE HAM BANDS! I AM A QRP'ER(LOW POWER) 1 TO FIVE WATTS! HELD UP FINE!**(note--> On the 4 of March 2003, KL7IBY AND MYSELF, WL7ARV, DID A FILD TEST AT KL7IBY'S HOME QTH. WE USED A ANTENNA TUNER AND A COUNTERPOISE SYSTEM FOR GROUND AND WE TUNED ALL HAM BANDS WITH A 1.1 TO 1 MATCH USING 5 WATTS, THEN 100 WATTS, THEN 500 WATTS! NO PROBLEM! MADE SEVERAL CONTACTS WITH 57 TO 59 REPORTS WITH THE ANTENNA AT GROUND LEVEL! WORKS FINE ON ALL WARC BANDS!))) THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE COIL IS 60 FOOT! A RGW CoiL IS MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL, AND THE SO-239 CONNECTION IS 10GA SOLID COPPER!

There has been a new modification to the DX-1 and the DX-2 Antennas! The top and botton Plates that support the loading coil are now made with Lexon Plastic. It hard to break this plastic with a sledge hammer! This feature will add more life to the antenna, and won't have to worry about it breaking in cold weather or if the antenna is droped or falls over.You can see the modification by e-mailing me for pictures of how it is mounted! I now have a picture of my own DX-1 , Mounted on my Wood Addition of my Double wide Trailer. It now is my all band Base Antenna. I use a MFJ-941b Antenna Tuner with a Kenwood TS-180s. I get 100 watts out on all bands with a SWR of 1.1.1. NO GROUNDING RADIALS! I USE EARTH GROUND!

DX-2 Inside All band Antenna!
Well you apartment dwellers and condo owners and Land home barrons that have covenants for NO OUTSIDE ANTENNAS, I have the Antenna for you! Its the DX-2, Another one of my inventions! I know it WORKS because if you look at my Pictures, I live in a Trailer That has metal siding and roof, It has also a 10'X 30' Building with metal Siding that has 2" thick walls! It was made for the cold winters up in PRUDOE BAY! I have used this antenna inside all surounded with metal and had three Shortwave radios hooked up to Long wires attached to Collins R-390, Collins 51-j4, yeasu frg-7, AND the antenna was hook up to the Radio Shack DX-394 Digital Receiver that has all the MODS!, I compaired signals with these radio and found that the inside antenna has 1 db less in Signal Strength compaired to the outside long wires that are facing N X S, SSW X NNE, NNW x SSW AND SOME ARE 40 FEET IN THE AIR AND OTHERS ARE 15 FT AND 28 FT ABOVE GROUND! THE SIGNAL STRENGTH OF 7-9 S UNITS IN THE VERTICAL MODE! ON THE FREQ THAT YOU SEE! I TUNED AROUND AND GOT HAVANNA CUBA, HCJB,QUITO EQUADORE, GUAM, AND MANY OTHER DX IN FINLAND, EUROPE AND AIRCRAFT(VOLUMET STATIONS)
The Antenna is less that 87" tall and I modified the base to be able to take it apart by lifting the mount out of the a base with adaptor to have the ability to take it apart and put it back togeth I can put a cap on the end and all the rods won't fall out and can put it away when I don't need it! I include this Mod but I don't include the wood base like whats pictured! you can put whatevere type of wood or 2x4 x pattern on the base of the flange unit! you make whatever color you want! It also cuts down on shipping Cost! I used rg-8x coaxial cable on the antenna to the radio, and did not hook up a ground systen to the antenna base! The one I have pictured is the prototype and its not for sale!
I have been busy selling this antenna to the people in Europe and in Japan because of the restriction of antenns in high rise Appartments! I make a least 2 or 3 a week not including the DX-1 Which is a hot seller!

This is a End fed Insulator for random length Long Wire Antennas! I make this type of insulators because of the Following reasons:
a: At night you can see it with a flash light! Up here In Alaska during the Winter we get chinok winds that sometime gust up to 90mph and its nice to be able to see if the antennas are still up, thats why white is good to use!
B: The antenna insulator is easy to service, not like the sealed center insulators which sweat inside and can carode inside and they cannot be cleaned or parts replaced, plus there expensive!
